Restormel Borough Council Select TeamSpirit
Cornwall based Restormel Borough Council has just selected Selven Group as their preferred HR and Payroll solution provider.
 Restormel who were previously using a Payroll system that will cease to be supported later this year, together with a range of in-house applications for Personnel, have chosen to implement Selven’s TeamSpirit Integrated Human Resource System.
In addition to TeamSpirit’s Payroll and Personnel software modules, Restormel have purchased both P11D and Recruitment, which will greatly assist them to eliminate duplicate data entry and enhance their existing business processes.
Selven was selected from a shortlist of three suppliers based on a combination of price, a range of excellent features and some first-rate references from existing users. Their prime objective was to move to a fully integrated approach to provide a catalyst for re-engineering their procedures and produce a more streamlined service. A further benefit of converting to the new system was that their existing data could be imported directly into TeamSpirit.
Restormel who currently have 650 monthly paid employees plan to go live with TeamSpirit Payroll software module in January 2005 and will follow with Personnel, P11D and Recruitment.
Mark Read, Project Manager for Restormel Borough Council commented "We were extremely impressed with the flexibility and the functionality of the TeamSpirit system when it was demonstrated to us. Monitoring and reporting on absence was previously a complicated process for us but as TeamSpirit includes a method for calculating the Bradford Factor and a comprehensive set of graphs and reports as standard, this procedure will be much easier".
