HR News - HCSS Announce Name Change
As of 1st March 2006, Human Capital Support Services Ltd (HCSS), the holding company for TeamSpirit Software Limited and Headcount Services Limited, changed its name to TeamSpirit Holdings Limited.
The board of Directors considered that whilst the full name of HCSS reflected what the group did, the name was unwieldy and therefore awkward to remember and use. As the company is not a trading company and purely an acquisitions vehicle, it was felt that the new name better reflected the Group’s activities.
Group CEO, Nick Parker comments, “We have embarked on a very exciting journey and one that will see TeamSpirit Holdings grow considerably over the next five years. Through a combination of organic growth and an aggressive acquisitions strategy we will build a services group utilising cutting edge technology to maximise the benefits for our clients”.
The primary focus for TeamSpirit Holdings acquisitions strategy will be on the payroll outsourcing market, which they see as the key growth area in the payroll and HR industry.
TeamSpirit Holdings currently consists of two companies, TeamSpirit Software Limited and Headcount Services Limited.
TeamSpirit Software Limited, formerly known as Selven Group, provides a range of modular yet fully integrated software for Payroll, HR, Time & Attendance, P11D, Recruitment, WebEnabled Manager Access and Employee Self Service.
Headcount Services Limited offers an extensive range of Payroll and HR outsourcing services including traditional Bureau, Fully Managed and Hosted payroll services, full or partial HR Outsourcing, consultancy and advisory services. In addition Headcount can offer Flexible Benefits, Expenses Administration and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). The full range of Headcount Services utilise TeamSpirit software, so any mix of in-house or outsourced service can be achieved.
