HR News - TeamSpirit is Music to Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's Ears
Selven Group has just signed a three year contract to supply the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra with it's TeamSpirit Integrated Payroll and HR software.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra had been using Ceridian Centrefile's bureau service since 1995 but wanted to bring payroll back in-house. As they had no computerised system in place for HR, the obvious decision was to look for a solution that could not only satisfy their payroll software requirements but HR as well.
TeamSpirit was selected from a shortlist of three, based on its superior flexibility and features. Andrew Minns, Head of Finance for Bournemouth |
| Symphony Orchestra commented, "What I really liked about TeamSpirit was the flexibility of the system, it is capable of doing anything I have asked for and more. The system also appears to be extremely easy to customise without assistance from Selven and this was verified by the reference site that we visited prior to making our final decision". |
Bill Bannister, Account Manager for Selven Group added "Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra should see the benefits of the TeamSpirit system almost immediately. With no current computerised HR system, they will now be able to carry out employee attendance and absence tracking, which I understand, is growing area for concern. This was highlighted at one of the initial meetings when Andrew explained that if a musician is off sick they have to pay for a replacement freelance musician."
In addition implementation of the TeamSpirit HR system will allow Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to monitor its staff's total earnings. Musicians can do a great deal of additional work that is paid as freelance work as it is outside their contract, this is something that the Orchestra wants to monitor.
TeamSpirit will also be integrated with the nominal ledger provided by Exchequer Enterprise. |
