HR News - Selven Group Announce Company Name Change
Selven Group Limited is pleased to announce that from the 1st September 2005, it will change its name to TeamSpirit Software Limited.
This change follows the takeover of Selven by the Human Capital Support Support Services Group (HCSS) in September 2004. HCSS’s strategy is to build a class-leading human capital support services group through acquisition and it was therefore necessary to simplify the structure of the group at this early stage to avoid confusion as the company grows. Nick Parker, CEO of HCSS comments "The name Selven originates from Selective Ventures which described the company when it was established back in 1979, but we felt it was no longer relevant to the current activities of the group. TeamSpirit is a recognised and high profile name in the HR and Payroll industry, so it made perfect sense for us to build on TeamSpirit’s existing brand equity and include it in the company name".
